What is coaching
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaching differs from mentoring because it is always client-focused and draws from the experience, goals and realities of the client. Differing from counseling which often looks to the past, coaching creates a Professional Partnership focusing on the client’s present and desired future.
How does coaching take place
How does coaching take place? Coaching is conducted in person, on Zoom or phone in 50-minute weekly sessions. In each session the ICF trained coach and the client sets the session goals and outcomes and during the fifty minute unpack the Goal, Reality, Obstacles, Options and Ways (GROW) to move forward.
Within coaching’s co-activated space, I work with leaders in ideation, goal-setting and strategic decisions to grow their careers and global enterprises especially in today’s shifting business landscape. With my clients I share insights from management and creativity to create a exciting learning environment.
