Interconnecting Coach Professionals Globally

A member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) I have served global Fortune 500 clients since 1989 building relationships across borders and facilitating cross-cultural dialogue. 

An active member of ICF and a New York University certified coach, I build cross-border networks - communities of professional coaches to facilitate dialogue on coaching practices in our new internet-connected world.  

A management consultant since 1989 I began coaching in 2005. I see coaching as an art in developing one’s goals and growth in increasingly complex environments. I now work with clients in finance, technology, diplomacy, management consulting and the creative industries. 

Since 2013 I am professor of record for now five immersive learning courses at Renmin University and Minzu University in Beijing. I coach MBAs at Columbia Business School, MFAs at Columbia University School of the Arts, PhDs at University of Melbourne, MAs in cultural entrepreneurship at Peking University and Entrepreneurship at The New School and a new program in Paris. In 2019, I initiated creative industries coaching at Yale University.

As New York chair for the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) I brought together c-level professionals in knowledge management from 26 countries. I facilitated discussion on new models for competitive intelligence, case studies for professional development and novel cross-cultural solutions. 

Training in Management and Creativity

I have a passion for global coaching, global management and global creativity. 

A scholar on International and Comparative Education, in the Department of International and Transcultural Studies at Teachers College at Columbia University I currently research creativity and executive leadership across borders. 

I am recipient of the 2020-2021 Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Award for my work in Asia. Educated in the US, UK, Japan and Europe I have a BA (cum laude) in History from Boston University, M.Sc. Management from M.Sc from Boston University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB) Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, MBA specialized in global strategy from California State Polytechnic University; was Japan Ministry of Education Scholar during my MA and completed my Doctorate (PhD, 2012) from the Faculty of Art, Environment and Technology, Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, and Post-Doctorate from the School of Communications and Arts (ECA), University of São Paulo, Brazil.
